The Story of RPM at UGA
The Residential Property Management Program (RPM) has proven to be a huge success at the University of Georgia. Funded by the Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation, the program started in the fall of 2004 to promote career opportunities within the apartment industry. The pilot course started with 151 students. Today, more than 3,000 students have gone through the program. The classes offered range from Introduction to Residential Property Management to Residential Property Management Technology & Simulation.
Many of the students who have graduated from the program have already found jobs in the industry. The RPM program at the University of Georgia has a strong referral program through word of mouth.
Professor Debbie Phillips, Ph.D. tells us more about the program in this podcast.
